What is Reconciliation?
God invites us to change our hearts through prayer and penance as a community, the Body of Christ. We are called to be loving, kind, patient and charitable to others. God works with us to mend our relationships with Him and with others. God's grace and forgiveness is for everyone!

Christ is present with us during Reconciliation in the physical presence of the priest. We read in the Gospels that Jesus forgave sins in a very real way with His hands, with His voice and with His presence among people. The priest embodies Jesus' presence with us through this Sacrament. Listen to Bishop Barron as he gives us an in-depth explanation of why we as Catholics are called to confess our sins to a priest.
